My current series of more conceptual painting focuses on depictions of queer joy that challenge the narrative of LGBTQ+ people as deviant and tortured.

An ongoing series exploring animals as symbols connecting the human narrative to nature. Drawing on animals with personal significance to the artist’s life, these images reflect a childlike relationship to backyard wildlife of the eastern deciduous forests of the northeastern United States. As objects of art, these paintings are meant to watch over the spaces where they hang.
